Postgraduate student of the University is a winner of the second round of the nation-wide contest
October 1-17 Yaroslavl P.G.Demidova State University conducted the Russian contest among students and postgraduate students of High Schools and institutions of Russian Academy of Science on the best innovative work in the priority sphere of “Rational Nature Management”. The Contest was held as a part of Federal Special Scientific and Technical Program “Research and Development in the Most Priority Spheres of Science and Technique” in 2002-2006 years.
Among the works noted by the Jury as a winner of the first round of the Contest was the project “Development of Environmentally Appropriate and Energetically Efficient Technologies of the Industrial Ventilation”. Author of the project was a post graduate student of the UlSTU Ms. Marchenko. She was awarded a diploma of the Contest.
Totally there were 283 works of young specialists presented at the Contest; from postgraduates, graduates of 89 higher schools and RAS institutions. The presented innovative projects were evaluated by the Expert Council of the Contest, consisting of professors, doctors of science and PhDs from the higher schools and RAS institutions. The primary criteria for the evaluation were: actuality of a problem concerned, scientific novelty of a project, practical marketability, possibility to make a project commercial.
The Contest’s Organization Committee especially noted the work of Professor Mr. Sharapov, who was a scientific adviser for the project presented at the Contest from the UlSTU; he was noted for the training of highly qualified personnel.
